Denise is a blessing to everyone she meets. She is sincere in her beliefs, and is not one to just write for fame or profit. She has a love for the Lord and also for everyone she comes in contact with. We all love Denise with our heart and soul, and also the whole Young family. God has blessed her with so much talent. She is honest and loving and will go to all lengths to please. She is so special to us, and I know she is special to everyone who meets her.

Denise has a gift that is truly "God given". Whether she is singing a song she wrote or another's song, Denise has been blessed with God's anointing, and we feel it, too. What a feeling! When we have been downcast through our many trials, her singing has helped us to draw near to the Father and be strengthened once more. A while ago, she wrote and sang a worship song with Psalm 121 as its text entitled, "My Keeper". This made it easy for me to remember God's word through the tough times. Throughout the day and night, I now have Psalm 121:5-8 in my head to help me. May her music continually help all of us to get closer and closer to our Lord!

When Denise writes and sings, she flows in the anointing, her songs reflect her relationship with Jesus, and her humble heart celebrates the majesty of our Lord. As she leads worship, she quickly flows into that anointing and ushers us into the very presence of God, where we can intimately worship Him. Denise has not only been a worship leader for me ... she has been my mentor. She has taught me how to worship and she has encouraged me to seek the deeper things of God.
