Introduction
The use of flags, banners and streamers give us
another way to physically express ourselves in worship. With a
little encouragement and instruction, everyone can learn to wave a
flag in praise and adoration to the Lord! Flags can enable
worshippers to have the freedom to express what is in their hearts
as the Holy Spirit leads them into the presence of God. This
type of worship brings God’s power, glory, and anointing upon our
gatherings and takes us all the way to the Holy of Holies.
Flags and banners should always honor Yeshua/Jesus as He points
the way to our Father God. One of God's names is
"Jehovah-Nissi" which means "God our Banner". What
greater banner could we have than Jesus and God our
Father! Jesus not only points the way to the Father --
He IS the way to the Father. Flags and banners are an
extended expression of love and adoration for Jesus giving honor to
the Father.
